Tangerang, 26 July 2026 β€” The enthusiasm of Indonesian children for learning technology and creativity was present at Road to Future Creator Fest 2026, an annual technology competition organized by Maker Education Group on 25–26 July 2026 at Carstensz Mall, Gading Serpong.

Carrying the theme β€œTechnology Meets Creativity”, the event was attended by more than 220 children from various DIGIKIDZ branches in Indonesia as well as general participants who have an interest in technology and digital creativity. This activity also became part of the series leading up to the 25-Year Silver Anniversary of Maker Education Group.

Over two days, participants demonstrated their abilities and creativity through three competition categories: Digital Drawing, Coding, and Robotics.

From Digital Creativity to Robotics Technology

The first day opened with the Digital Drawing Competition, which became a platform for participants to express their imagination through digital artwork. The competition then continued with the Coding Competition, where participants developed ideas into animations and games, and presented the works they had created.

Entering the second day, the Robotics Competition presented a different challenge. Participants were challenged to design, build, and program robots while also demonstrating logical thinking and problem solving skills in completing various challenges.

In addition to being a competition, this event also provided a learning experience involving families. Parents were able to see firsthand how children create, think critically, solve problems, and build self-confidence through technology.

The event atmosphere was also enlivened by various interactive activities, sponsor areas, as well as a main stage featuring hosts and various activities to build enthusiasm among participants and visitors.

Road to Future Creator Fest 2026 received support from Bank Victoria, ChompChomp Marshmallow, HokBen, Bank Mandiri, Medikids, Otobot, and Bank OCBC, which also contributed to providing the best experience for participants and visitors.

30 Children Earn Champion Titles

This year, 30 children successfully became winners across various age categories, ranging from 4 to 16 years old. Every work they produced was not merely a competition result, but also proof that children have the potential to become creators of technology, not only users of technology.
